I know that most of you are infinitely familiar with Keanu Reeves’ extensive repertoire in films, but he has interests in a number of areas. I will mention two projects in his repertoire this week. Now, are any of you familiar with the popular 1991 music video, “Rush Rush” by Paula Abdul? I remember it well.

The “Rush Rush” music video was a brief representation of the classic celebrated film, “Rebel without a Cause“. Keanu was cast as James Dean’s unforgettable character. Keanu Reeves’ version of the James Dean‘ character was quite affecting due to his adorable fresh-faced cuteness captivating the heart of many. I was quite young when this song and music video were released. And as I’ve said before, when I first saw him, I thought Keanu Reeves was one of the most beautiful men that I had ever seen.

Next up is an early and unfamiliar 1980’s film which Keanu Reeves has under his belt. It was previously listed on imdb.com as “Flying”, but currently as “Teenage Dream”. However, it has had 4 titles throughout the years, “Believe to Dream”, “Dream to Believe”, “Flying”, and finally as, “Teenage Dream”. Now this film is somewhat difficult to locate. Nevertheless, I did make certain to inform Keanu about the issues surrounding this film, in case any of his fans will be interested in watching it. So I have endavored to clear up this confusion as much as possible within several of my Blog posts.
In this film, Keanu Reeves portrays the character, “Tommy Wernicke” alongside Olivia D’abo’s starring character, “Robin Crew”. At first, “Tommy” is completely into “Robin”, but she doesn’t know he exists; as she is interested in a popular male gymnast, who already has a girlfriend (a fellow female gymnast who is “Robin’s” biggest rival on their high school gymnastics team).
“Tommy” proceeded to give “Robin” a taste of her own medicine, by ignoring her for a lengthy period. Yet, he does eventually confront her, state his case, and then dismisses her in an angry manner. Thus, it takes some effort on her part for “Robin” to convince him of her true interest in him only. In the end, the two characters became involved in a committed and intimate relationship. And Keanu Reeves’, “Tommy”, was such a devoted, loving, and very romantic beau. He even prepared a romantic breakfast-in-bed meal for his special lady.
