Do any of you happen to be familiar with the Keanu Reeves’ film entitled, “Knock Knock”? If not, it just happens to be one of the many films of Keanu Reeves that I have seen. And I have decided to make it the focal topic of discussion for this week.

Knock Knock” is an erotic thriller film. Now, I happen to prefer romantic films over erotic ones. Nevertheless, I decided to watch it because it was one of the eclectic films within my Muse, Keanu Reeves’, rather expansive repertoire.

Keanu Reeves portrays “Evan”; a devoted, loving husband and father in this film. In this day and age (it is quite dangerous to do so), but he decides to help two stranded young women who show up on his doorstep one evening. He actually invites them in and provides shelter for them. They are so disgustingly vulgar and are rather disturbing predatory females, as well.

The sexually intimate scenes are described as seduction, but I am an individual with an extensive educational background in psychology, and I would astutely classify them as rape; not seduction. “Evan” (Keanu’s character) immediately refuses their unwanted advances and succinctly states that he is a happily married man before these two young women unleash their illicit, sexual assaults upon him. After which, he becomes an all too willing participant; as they give him pleasure (which is a physiological reaction). Though, he definitely feels guilt and remorse afterward.

Storyline: “When a devoted husband and father is left home alone for the weekend, two stranded young women unexpectedly knock on his door for help. What starts out as a kind gesture results in a dangerous seduction and a deadly game of cat and mouse. A sexy new thriller from director Eli Roth and written for the screen by Eli Roth & Nicolás López & Guillermo Amoedo and story by Anthony Overman and Michael Ronald, KNOCK KNOCK stars Keanu Reeves as the family man who falls into temptation and Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas as the seductresses who wreak havoc upon his life, turning a married man’s dark fantasy into his worst nightmare. KNOCK KNOCK will be released by Lionsgate Premiere in theaters and On Demand on October 9th.” Written by Lionsgate

In my opinion, he should never have let them in; as they wreak catastrophic havoc upon his life. They also demonstrated how illicit their intentions were before the seduction scene even occurred, yet he did not throw them out. I’m not certain whether the writers were attempting to showcase the basic weakness of the human male to feminine advances; a quite vulnerable disposition (even if a gentleman is involved in a committed relationship). Nonetheless, it is certainly true that before this film comes to a confusing, but frightening end that these horrible female assailants make these felonious experiences “Evan’s” worst nightmare come true.

Please feel free to check out the Movie Review below the web link:

“Director Eli Roth’s, “Knock Knock”, a remake of the 1977 exploitation picture  “Death Game”, sometimes plays more like a comedy than like the grungy thriller that inspired it, but that’s often all to the good.” Written by Dan Callahan of TheWrap; a Top Critic

I must add that I wished the character,  “Evan”, would have found their immoral advances abhorrent, and shown them the door ASAP. Yet, overall, this was quite an intriguing thriller film; nonetheless. I believe that my Muse, Keanu Reeves, played a convincing role of the atrociously victimized, “Evan”, character. But, you don’t have to take my word for it. Please feel free to watch it, for any of you who may be interested.

And for any of you who are not yet aware, I am the Creator of this Blog and Author of the Action Adventure/Futuristic Fantasy E-Book entitled, “The Mystery Alliance: Evian’s Saga”. Keanu Reeves is my Special Muse and Inspiration for my creation of “Evian Magi”, the protagonist (main character) within “The Mystery Alliance: Evian’s Saga”. This innovative character, “Evian Magi”, is the Mystic Fantasy Hero version of Keanu Reeves.
