This was an interesting romantic comedy, to say the least. It certainly is a film that I would not have expected Keanu to star in. Well, it was relatively early in his acting career, so it would appear that his wish was to become a well-rounded actor. Keanu Reeves has even been quoted as saying, “I’ve been really fortunate to be able to do different kinds of films in different scales, different genres, different kinds of roles, and that is important to me.”

Keanu Reeves portrays the character, “Martin Loader”, and this film also starred the late great Peter Falk and actress, Barbara Hershey. I believe that “Tune in Tomorrow” was the first film where Keanu effected a charming southern accent. And I definitely appreciated it. I also thought he looked quite attractive throughout this film’ entirety, even though it was set in the year 1951. Keanu also showcased his terrific swing dancing skills in this film. And I am certain that I am not the only one who noticed that the southern accent was even more effective whenever Keanu’s character kept saying the words “make love” to Barbara Hershey’s character.

“Martin works at the local radio station, which just hired a new scriptwriter with a reputation for great drama, Pedro Carmichael. Martin’s aunt Julia, not related by blood, returns home after many years away and Martin falls for her. Once Pedro finds out about this romance, he starts incorporating details of it into the script of his daily drama series. Soon, Martin and Julia are not only hearing about their fictional selves over the radio, but about what they are going to do next.” Written by Christine Sai-Halasz <>

“A tri-layered tale of love, creative impulses and dial-spinning, it comes and it goes, evocative and a little magical, flawed but forgivably so.” Written by Rita Kempley of the Washington Post

It is obvious that Keanu Reeves tends to portray an eclectic array of characters. Yet, this does not matter; as I tend to appreciate many films in his repertoire. As I was growing up, he was so photogenic that I could not help but admire his attractive countenance. I even appreciated the way he looked whilst playing the bass guitar in the alternative rock band, “Dogstar”. He even performed recently at the Festival San Remo 2017; as can be seen in the photo below. Bass guitar just happens to be my favorite instrument, and cute guys playing bass always has had substantial appeal for me; as the bass guitar is what makes me want to dance (most of the time). Now, it seems that Keanu has always instinctively known just what I like or appreciate…wonderful!

Tune in Tomorrow” was enjoyable; and I found that is great to view when I am in the mood to watch a lovely romantic film. Now, if you are not aware, I am the Creator of this Blog, and I am also Author of the Action Adventure/Futuristic Fantasy E-Book entitled, “The Mystery Alliance: Evian’s Saga”. And Keanu Reeves is my Special Muse and Inspiration regarding the creation of my protagonist (main character), “Evian Magi”; as “Evian Magi” is the Mystic Fantasy Hero version of Keanu Reeves.

Thank you very much, Keanu Reeves, for you are such an amazingly kind gentleman toward me, Miss TaffeytheChamp. And I thank GOD, exceptionally, for all of Your wondrous and loving-kind support. If interested, any of you may purchase a copy of “The Mystery Alliance: Evian’s Saga” at: Thank you for your encouraging interest, and Have an Enjoyable week!
